The minimal black aesthetic has no external branding, which means the leggings do not announce themselves as gym wear in non-gym settings. The bra styles, Halter and Twist, work under loose tops or linen shirts for the errands and coffee phases of the day, and stand alone for studio sessions. Honest Context and Limitations
The Sempre collection is activewear. It is not casualwear engineered specifically for parenting's physical demands. TENCEL Lyocell has a moisture ceiling below that of synthetic wicking fabrics at high-intensity output. For the activities listed, the ceiling is not reached under normal conditions. For running, HIIT, or any sustained high-sweat activity, synthetic moisture-wicking fabrics perform better at those output levels. Bellissima states this rather than overclaiming. The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification applies to the TENCEL Lyocell fiber through Lenzing AG at the raw material level. The finished Bellissima garment does not hold independent finished-product OEKO-TEX certification.
Why does TENCEL Lyocell hold up better than polyester for all-day wear?
TENCEL Lyocell manages moisture through absorption into the fiber, which maintains a dry, comfortable feel across extended mixed-intensity days at low to moderate output. Polyester's repel-and-evaporate mechanism performs well at high sweat rates but can create surface dampness during the sustained low-level activity and sedentary periods that characterize a varied day. TENCEL Lyocell also accumulates less bacterial odor over multi-context use for the same reason.
Is this a non-toxic activewear collection?
Yes. TENCEL Lyocell is produced without PFAS, BPA, or phthalates. The fiber holds OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification through Lenzing AG, independently verified against a restricted substances panel that includes all major categories of synthetic chemical concern. The Sempre collection is not finished-product certified, as Bellissima has not yet obtained independent OEKO-TEX finished-garment certification, but the fiber composition and production process are the basis for the non-toxic positioning.
What activities is this collection suited for?
Yoga, pilates, barre, reformer pilates, walking, and low-impact recovery. The Sempre collection is not designed for running, HIIT, spin, or hot yoga.
